It is with immense pride that we announce the appointment of our very own Director, Neo Molefe, as a Board Member of the Association of B-BBEE Professionals (ABP).

About the ABP

The ABP is a prominent body representing industry professionals involved in Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE). The ABP aims to standardize and regulate the B-BBEE profession, ensuring consistent application of codes and policies across the industry. It unites various B-BBEE stakeholders, including verification agencies, consultants, and corporate professionals, under a single code of conduct and qualification criteria​.

The ABP plays a critical role in advocating for its members by engaging with government bodies such as the Department of Trade, Industry, and Competition, and also plays a role in maintaining a single, unified voice for the industry.

About Neo Molefe

With a decade experience in B-BBEE advisory, Neo is a Director and transformation facilitator at Transcend, specialising in identifying transformation opportunities, B-BBEE scorecard analyses, and formulating and implementing sustainable transformation strategies.

Neo’s vision for the ABP

The role of the ABP Board is to help shape policies and strategies that enhance transformation and the B-BBEE landscape. On the ABP Board, Neo aims to grow the B-BBEE profession, and wants to use the opportunity to be the voice of our clients by addressing complex B-BBEE transactions and ensuring consistent application of the legislation to promote transformation.
