Government moves to accelerate BBBEE
FM - SA’s Government is moving away from what it calls elitist Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) as it aims to align BEE with the states development and transformation agenda. Trade and industry director-general Lionel October this week said the Government is moving into a new phase of BEE meant to create black entrepreneurs and industrialists.

There are low levels of compliance with Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) laws in large sectors of the economy, MPs heard on Tuesday.
